• Driver Ave will be partially closed outside the SCG from 12.30pm and will reopen after the game. No through-traffic will be available on Driver Ave.
• Access to EP2 car park will be maintained from Moore Park Rd and access to EP3 grass car park and drop-off areas will be maintained from Lang Rd. Car parks open from 12.30pm.
• Due to the Moore Park Rd pop up cycleway, there is no left-turn permitted from Lang Rd onto Moore Park Rd westbound. Motorists can use Cook Rd for access onto Moore Park Rd instead.

The Holden Day Car Show will be held at Hawkesbury Showground in Clarendon from Saturday 3 to Sunday 4 August. The show starts daily at 6am and finishes at 5pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday.

Motorists should allow extra travel time on roads including Hawkesbury Valley Way, Blacktown Rd, The Northern Rd and Richmond Rd approaching the Precinct as families travel to the showground over the weekend.

Heavy traffic is expected in Clarendon and surrounding suburbs approaching the showground. Attendees travelling to the show are encouraged to catch trains instead to avoid delays.

Around 7,000 people will take part in the annual Sydney Harbour 10k and 5k.

Events start from George St in The Rocks from 7:30am. The course travels around the harbour foreshore using on and off-road pathways via Dawes Point, Millers Point, Barangaroo, King St Wharf , Darling Harbour and Pyrmont. To safely facilitate the event, road closures will be in place.

Motorists should allow extra travel time and follow directions of traffic controllers on site.

• 4am to 1pm: Circular Quay West at the OPT
• 4:30am to 11am: George St from Alfred St to Hickson Rd, Hickson Rd from George St to Park Hyatt, and the OPT Upper Roadway
• 6am to 10am: Hickson Rd between Napoleon St and Barton St, Sussex St between Napoleon St and Erskine St, northbound lanes of Sussex St from King St to Erskine St. Sections of Slip St and Barton St.
• 6am to 11am: Hickson Rd from Park Hyatt to Barton St, Napoleon St between Kent St and Sussex St, and sections of Dalgety Rd and Towns Pl.
• 7.30am to 10am: Sections of Murray St and Pirrama Rd, and Wharf 7/10 Access Rd in Pyrmont. Access the Star via Edward St, no access via Pirrama Rd.
• Changed access - 8.30am to 9:30am: Due to the closure of Sussex St there is no exit from King St Wharf/Barangaroo South. Entry via Harbour St and Wheat Rd only. Roads affected include Barangaroo Ave, Cuthbert St, Erskine St, King St, Lime St, Shelley St and Watermans Quay.

Significant road closures and widespread parking restrictions will be in place between the Sydney CBD and Bondi Beach while 90,000 people take part in the 14km City2Surf fun run.

Key roads around the start area in Hyde Park in the Sydney CBD start closing from as early as 3.30am with major roads closing along the course from 6am from the city to the Eastern Suburbs. Heavy traffic is expected while roads are closed, so avoid unnecessary travel or expect delays and allow plenty of extra travel time on the roads.

Roads begin progressively reopening from 11.30am in the city, 12pm at Edgecliff, 1pm at Rose Bay, 2pm at Vaucluse & Dover Heights and 4pm at Bondi Beach.

MAJOR ROAD CLOSURES

• Sydney CBD between 3.30pm and 12pm: sections of College St, Macquarie St, Park St and St James Rd.
• Woolloomooloo to Edgecliff from 6am to 12pm midday: William St from Yurong St through to New South Head Rd at Ocean Ave. No access to the city via New South Head Rd west of Ocean St until 12pm, use alternative route via Oxford St.
• The Cross City Tunnel will be closed eastbound, access to Cross City Tunnel and Craigend St (westbound direction only) is maintained via McLachlan Ave at Rushcutters Bay. From the Eastern Distributor there is no access to William St or the Cross City Tunnel westbound.
• Double Bay to Rose Bay from 7am to 1pm: New South Head Rd from Ocean Ave to Dover Rd.
• Rose Bay to North Bondi from 7am to 2pm: New South Head Rd from Dover Rd to Old South Head Rd, Old South Head Rd from New South Head Rd to Oceanview Ave, and Military Rd from Old South Head Rd to Blair St.
